Once the big question is popped and a wedding date is selected, there are a long list of to-dos before you say "I do". As wedding season is approaching, engaged couples have a lot more to be worried about than planning their wedding on the perfect day. There are many decisions to be made and even more decisions for a couple planning on a budget. The average American couple spends $26,951 for a wedding -- and that's not even including the honeymoon. Getting everything you want for less can be a struggle, but it doesn't have to result in a total loss. You can still get the things you desire if you cut back on the less necessary. Theresa Clinton, wedding consultant and manager at Party Concepts said, “We have competitive prices. We are the oldest, reliable company in the mid-south since 1953.” Party Concepts is a one-stop shop for renting and buying decorations for your wedding. Nowadays, anyone can be pretty handy with a digital camera, but having professional photographers at your event will allow you to relax and let the pros handle the photography. AM Photography offers a complimentary engagement photo session to interact with the couple before the wedding day (with the purchase of the wedding package). Photographer, Amanda Hill said, “The cake will be eaten, the alcohol will be gone, and decorations will be torn, but your wedding portraits will be the only thing that remains.” Also, instead of having separate locations, having a wedding at one location could be more convenient for your guests and less expensive for you. Madeline Seabrook, owner of Chimes wedding chapel and Occasions reception hall suggests having the wedding and reception at the same site. In order to have the best for less, shop around for the best prices and even try shopping online. The invested time you spend bargain shopping can save you both money on the big day.
