It's Christmas Time in Cooper-Young
By Silas Vassar, III
December 14, 2011'Tis the season to be bright! Or so is the thought in Cooper-Young. Residents and businesses in the historical neighborhood begin to string lights, inflate snowmen and hang ornaments to brighten the Midtown area.
Wednesday, I travelled through Cooper, Young, Barksdale, Oliver and a host of other streets to capture the beauty of the holiday... in lights! Just as Midtown is comprised of various types of people so were the decorations. No two decorations are alike.
