Langford Market to open next to Urban Outfitters

Langford Market, a women’s clothing retailer, is moving in to the vacant space next door to Urban Outfitters at 2151 Central Ave.
The Memphis Daily News reported in July 2012 that the building had been leased by a company called AA Concepts, which owns several retail lines.
“We've seen contractors coming in and out but no one really knows what’s coming," said one Urban Outfitters employee.
AA Concepts brand manager Davina Hirsh would not confirm if Langford Market is coming to the Cooper- Young area; however there is a Langford Market Twitter account and Facebook page detailing the exact location: 2155 Central Ave.
The Facebook page has been active since September 17, 2012. Tamara Cook, executive director of the Cooper-Young Community Association, confirmed that the store is moving into the space.
Unlike Urban Outfitters, Langford Market offers a more professional look for young women. Colorful floral dresses, skirts, brightly colored jeans and penny loafers decorate the stores homepage.
