Chili Contest at Peabody Elementary Attracts Crowd and Competitive Cookers
The grounds of Peabody Elementary are going to look even better thanks to generous cooks and the more than 150 people who tasted their creations. It was the 4th annual Cooper-Young/Peabody Elementary Chili Cook-off. The event raised nearly $1,400 and all of this will be used to beautify the school landscape. U.S. Congressman Steve Cohen (D-Memphis) was even there to show his love of chili, Cooper-Young, and Peabody Elementary. Click photos for captions.
