Public Art Gallery 'Pops Up' under Barksdale Train Trestle

by Lurene Kelley/MicroMemphis Editor

July 30, 2011

The only hint at who created some two dozen pieces of art is the signature 'MAB'.  The works are plastered to the concrete walls underneath the train trestle near Barksdale and York.  The site is a common spot for graffiti and an occasional "found art" sculpture hanging from the trestle.  If you know anything about the artist who created this 'pop up' gallery, contact us.
