Review: Slider Inn- It's worth a visit

Why go out of the way for a burger? Since I live near the University of Memphis, it's usually a better idea to just eat near campus. That’s what I thought before I decided to give Slider Inn a visit. Located on 2117 Peabody Ave, Slider Inn provides a wide variety of food at a reasonable price.
Let’s start with the burgers - they come in sets of three, with a side of fries or potato salad. You can add all sorts of toppings, multiple kinds of cheese, mushrooms, avocado, bacon...the list goes on and on. Mushroom and Swiss and blue cheese and friend onion are two specialties. Nachos and wings, along with shrimp skewers, lobster salad, and a lobster roll sandwich are some of the other items on the menu.
For those over 21, Slider Inn comes equipped with a full bar. When you combine what’s on tap with what they serve by the bottle, you have over 20 kinds of beer to choose from. Jack Daniels, 1800 Tequila, Jagermeister, Southern Comfort, Fireball cinnamon whiskey, along with every flavor of Stolichnaya Vodka you could think of are available. You can also get a homemade lemonade and vodka.
The restaurant itself is very comfortable, with a medium-sized indoor area and a nice outdoor patio. The indoor area has a nice-sized TV on the wall, perfect for watching sports. Expect to spend about $10 if all you want are the three sliders, the lobster roll is $16.
The restaurant opens at noon and closes at 3:00 a.m. seven days a week. They stop serving food at 2:00 a.m. Monday though Saturday, and at 11 p.m. Sundays.
